Outside the Box - The Wise and Waller archives (CR0026) were purchased by the county record office in 2007 from the Ussher family to whom they had descended in 1962 on the death of Lady Viola Waller. An event was held 21st June 2009 to celebrate the conclusion of the project. (Gary Timlin)

Mickington Hill, named on the Fish Map of 1711, is on the horizon below Red House Farm Cottages. The -ington name may signify the presence of an unrecorded Saxon settlement in Lillington parish, perhaps lost at the Black Death. (2014, Gary Timlin)

Vicarage Road, c.2007 (Matthew Round). Matthew is an RAF helicopter pilot and instructor based in Cornwall, and this was a last fly-over, when he took photos and then sold them in aid of Myton Hospice. It pre-dates the restoration of the dormer windows at the Manor house.)
